M-14 Clinic: 100 Mile House: Day 3 & 4

My wife Nina and I have been in deep discussion regarding this event and we have decided to go ahead with the 2nd annual 4 day Forest Grove M14 clinic camp out.
For next year, we will address the following issues that arose.
Internet access hehehe a big one for some and we will be sure to have something in place.
Distance to range facilities, we will be approaching the Forest Grove Gun Club and hope to work closely with them to have the event there.
Range facilities, sawdust will not be present LOL and we'll be sure to have a CQB type area and RO as well as a more relaxed, shoot as you please area.
a few more tweaks like meals provided by the kitchen at the forest grove legion.

We'll work on it between now and next year. Anyone wanting to be on the list for next year, same week, shoot me a p.m.
Cheers and thanx to everyone for making this such a successful and eye opening event ;)

Absolutely in again! I can not emphasize enough how much fun I had. This event completely re-invigorated my interest in the m14 platform; I have spent the last few days buying books, parts, tools and ammo. My VISA is screaming but so what :)

Will you be doing a m14 hunting weekend and clinic again this year Thomas? If so I am in for that too!

Wait...all you guys who JUST finished...already wanna come back next year?!

I guess they don't call this place "Nutz" for nuthin'!

I kept getting called Shawn by a few people up there. PopCan was referencing my mad mag skillz and I had to correct.

I could only remember you as Dundurn - until I just saw that 31 clinic post.

Sorry dude. Next year, I'm bringing name tapes...

No worries, it was a lot of names to remember. I still cant remember them all, and I definitly think name tags are a must next time.

Shawn

Name tags? Somebody mention name tags? I dropped the ball on this one and then again, This is Tom's clinic and he is the boss. All of you from my across the country know that I am all about the nametags for networking, this clinic I don't even know any handles. So the poor fellow from Burns Lake, was annoyed that I was calling him "Prince George" . I am certain he wished that I had busted open the nametags at the beginning of this clinic.

Cheers,
Barney

LOL name tapes, I hate name tapes. Reminds me of me having to wear a suit on my vegas and reno, Worldwide distributors sporting goods tradeshow trips.

Next year we'll have name tags :( LOL

As for a clinic/hunting adventure this fall... I could be convinced to host a small group in October.
We could do a morning session at the range, tweak what we need to tweak, then head to hunt camp. Anyone interested should email or p.m. me ;)
