I have fond memories of conversations with a Pacific war US Army machine gunner Louis Cooperman, from when I was a boy. One story I recall was how they removed some of the Belleville washers from the buffers of the M1917s to greatly reduce the rate of fire. Aimed on fixed lines of fire with a long beaten zone, the guns would chug chug chug slowly through a belt and be enough of a nuisance to the enemy that the machine gunners created an obstacle "belt" of falling bullets.

Fake photo. That is a reenactor for sure. Photo is too detailed for starters. Don't even get me started on the fact he clearly has pristine equipment and obviously no experience with full auto weapons as he would never have his unprotected hand even close to the barrel or shroud. Lame balls.

Lame because he owns a gun most of us can't get or afford if we have the license? Its a win in my book for the re-enactor

also no Boolits on that belt if you look closely. Blanks. Full Auto, but blanks. Actually now that I'm thinking about it, it's kinda cool I'd give it a run :cool:

Hot damn!
There were some serious lookers even back then eh :D

Who'da thought eh? I always thought Hugh Heffner invented beautiful women myself.

Most likely something done in the twenties by a comedy film crew before Hitler came to power. The party would not have forgotten!

Look what the Storch brought in! Two out of three ain't bad they say...

But the Fiesler Storch didn't appear until 1937, and Adolph only started wearing that outfit after he came to power.

I doubt Lufthansa hostesses or Luftwaffe female personnel were allowed to go bra-less either. And of course I don't believe hostesses were provided on Fiesler Storchs.:p

I don't see how trouble could come your way friend? This photo is certainly faked as Hitler didn't drink alcohol and publicly frowned upon those who did. Adolf was also known to be quite prudish ###ually and often shunned the affections of Ava Brahm when in near privacy.

The photo is funnier than he11, but it's missing something...ah yes the pi$$ stain down the front of his trousers :D. {now, that might get me in trouble ;)}

Ava Brahm? Wasn't she a cousin of that composer fella?

;):D
