This .308 started out as:
and after spending a small fortune on parts, it looks like this:
This is the 2nd attempt at a shoulder stock and it still needs to be sanded, shaped and a butt plate added. It was made of 2 pieces of 19mm birch ply that were cut and shaped as halves before being laminated together.
I have a nice stick of cherry that needs to be plained down for it to fit in the ply jigs.
It still needs a front grip retainer and possibly a flash hider. Seeing how I don't want to notch the barrel for the front retainer I'm having a local company make something up.
I really hope this gives a FUDD a heart attack when hunting deer or at the range.

Dlask has completed my work request and at a really awesome price as well!
The barrel has been threaded for a flash hider (I found in Finland) and Joe has CNC'd a complete new bolt on front hand guard retainer (the big sliver thing).
The next step will be shaping the shoulder stock and sending it off to Armacoat for some sort of finish.
If anybody is looking for the front hand guard retainer Joe should have it up on his website or dead zombie.
Yes, I suck at taking pictures and my shop is a mess.
