Just talked to DS Tactical (decided to order something else as well) and they have two more Mesa swivel kits available. You can ask for Keith or Brian.

So it turns out the guy at DS Tactical was mistaken yesterday and that they do indeed still have those Mesa Tactical sling swivel attachments in stock. They shipped me one out today. I'm stoked! Thanks for the heads up Steel28!

Was just by my local shooting club and as luck would have it, they had the mesa tactical sling swivel in stock. just installed it on my tavor... amazing find! works like a charm..

That swivel is what should have originally been OEM on Tavor! I think the string tie-knotted sling looks way too cheap looking, like a poor man's homemade yarn knit on a $3000 rifle for a serious piece of military equipment. ;-P

I'm pretty sure the US made Tavors are supposed to come with quick release points built into them.

I was with you, until i tried the Mesa tactical mount with a single point sling... sorry bud, i jumped ship! lol

If you run something like the Urban ERT 2-point sling, it has two attachment points as well as a quick release. I found this was an ideal setup for me, but YMMV.

im running a magpul MS3 sling.. does the 1 and 2 point sling thing quite nice... not that i run around the house with my tavor slinged to me, pretending the zombies are coming.... really... i dont do that....honest....
