damn why cant they make then like a 20rnd mag? so the can fit in a mag pouch and still be able to grab them

This is what works for me. Magpul Ranger plates, OSOE velco lined pouches with foam blocks in the bottoms, and small pieces of hook velcro stuck to the mags. They stay in place without using the bungee retention and are high enough to pull out relatively easily.

Krylon khaki base coat then sponge on OD and dark drown I also mix the colors to get a more color then a lite dusting of OD to balance it out I taped off the ejection port and lens on the reddot

hey guys, sorry if this has already been asked, just want to confirm that the beowulf mags fit in the XCR!...prob should have done that before i preordered 3!

Metal should, not sure about polymer. Magpul Pmag need the mag release hole cut out for proper seating otherwise they can be pulled right out easily, may need to do a similar cut to the polymer beowulf.

*edit* found a pic to demonstrate, notice the mag release hole has been cut out on the Pmag.

Lol, yay for XCR consistency .

I guess it's a YMMV issue.

I forgot to add that they work without the hole cut out, but they can be pulled out without touching the mag release, sometimes would drop out on me, still worked though. Cut the hole and they didn't pull out without the mag release anymore.
