Not me. I thought the original response to Ghostie was incredibly childish, over-the-top and petty.
Given the history with these guns, I say Ghostie raised some reasonable questions and points about the FRT/approval.

I think its funny that every thread on this site turns into a pissing match and hating on each other....litterally the first 3-5 pages are good info, and then it instantly degrades into pursonal opinions and flaming each other for them. silly humans
Absolutely! I am glad that SOME people encourage rational/fully-thought through behavior rather than simply believing everything we read on the internet as fact... 5000 posts or not cbabes... that was an inappropriate comment.
I am sorry not to keep rehashing but what did I say that was inappropriate?
I agree with you.![]()

Were you aware you agree with both sides, both for and against Ghostie's comments.
Expectation is you are like most people so you agree.

again, bud, if it so important why not go find it yourself? should the people who run sfrc go running to their file cabinets to satisfy you?
Thats true. But the manner that he presented it was very annoying. If a grown man spoke to me like that in real life id probably have to ask him to stop so i could walk away.
"Do you know who it is that sent in a sample and got it approved, and when that took place?
I don't want to be the harbinger of doom and gloom, but... there seems to be a deafening silence on the details here. At least four retailers now say that they are bringing these in. There is no way four different parties are independently importing these. I would like to know who is the prime mover behind this, and what steps they have taken."
Seems like you have a nice little hunch...... also seems like no one cares.
"I have it straight from the horse's mouth (Murray A. Smith, Firearms Section, RCMP Forensics Laboratory Services, testifying under oath in Vancouver) that no new "semi-automatic version of an automatic firearm" (whatever that means, but you can take it to the bank that any semi-automatic T95/T97-style firearm will fall into that category in their minds) will be available in Canada unless a sample has been submitted and approved. I would really like to know when that process took place, and who initiated it."
you want to know names of people who are conducting business? this cannot be private information anymore? Is there a need for transparency? If so why? I tend to believe that sfrc has legit ways of conducting themselves and perhaps are more versed in importing these weapons than you.... so why are you entitled to an explanation....
"This is my question as well. Can someone please post .pdf or some kind of image of the new FRT."

just my thoughts
I did go find it myself, and I posted everything in the black rifle forum. In fact, I am just about the only one on here who did anything other than have my eyes glaze over at the prospect of playing with a new black rifle toy, even when what was coming from the retailers was so obviously implausible given the history of the T97.

There is at least one dealer whose website is still saying "approved for Canada as Non-Restricted" and "coming in Early Spring 2013", which is all pure speculation, and they are taking $250 deposits. 200 pre-orders with a $250 deposit = $50,000. Do you not see a problem here?
ghostie seems pretty level-headed to me. The opposite of reckless.
