Shorten PAL Approval Times

Yeah, the holidays didn't help! It's kinda my fault though, I should have called the CFO earlier. Now, 2 weeks to receive plastic, then maybe another 2-3 weeks for ATT, and I might shoot my first bullet in early February/Early March.

My course(s) are not until 3rd week of Feb. I'm being optimistic and hoping I get my plastic mid-late May.

Yeah I did, she said it went well that they asked if she was worried about her safety and that of her boyfriend's. We are on excellent terms so I wasn't worried. I called the CFO afterwards to ask if it had been approved and the lady told me they had other things to look at before approving.
I sent in application november 3, to upgrade to a RPAL. Forgot to sign pic. So sent that away 1st week of December. Last week saw online that liscence had been issued. Local dealer had just recieved a order of AR's. And had one left, so i paid in full as i expected to recieve my liscense soon. Called CFC to see when it was mailed. Turns out they somehow missed that it was for a RPAL, and approved me for a regular PAL. Weird as I sent in my exam results for the RPAL. So i now own a gun on a shelf at a gun store, but cannot get anytime soon as the CFC now has to process my restricted liscense.

Call them back.. and calmly explain how they screwed up.. and that your waiting period does not apply and that now your app should be fast tracked and issued this week.
Also for anyone/everyone with an AR or that would want one. You should be filing formal complaints about it being classified as restricted due to it's looks alone which is beyond stupid.

Call back if needed to get your file# etc.. then have your references call in for interviews etc quoting the file# .. and that will eliminate a ton of delays. Once they are done.. call back personally (or have all 3 available at once at the same phone / room etc which is even faster).
remember.. the CFC is not as bad as the CFOs but their jobs still in effect is to impose delays, frustration etc etc.. since the entire process is not about public safety at all.

The fact you even have to send them for ON is BS.
Did you submit your app already as many of us have instructed within this and other threads? If so.. just fax them to the CFC and always keep the originals!!!!
Just a quick note for you, if your application hasnt shown up online they wont take your test scores as you need your application#. As soon as it shows up online fax it in right away.

Is it kosher to have both my references call at once with me present? We all attend the same university, so I can call on my cell and hand off the phone as needed.
