Hello .284
I will answer the best I can. The Match Director may chime in to correct me.
For shooting tips and info I expect the experts who have been there to provide those answers. My expertise is limited to what I see from behind the registration desk.
Also please check out the 2013 BC Precision Rifle Championship Rules and Code of Conduct here:

1. Is there a weight limit for rifles- I have a rem 308 done up that I think is about 12 lbs.
Experts?
See 2.04 Rifle Class Definitions. I see no weight limit. There are other definitions that will determine which class you will be shooting in: Tactical Rifle Limited or Tactical Rifle Open. Some stages it may be preferable to have something lighter. Stage 3 has a standing position for 5 rounds. A heavy rifle/scope /bipod combination may adversely affect score. Weight may be an advantage from the farther distances.
I believe around 15 lbs for rifle weight is about average
(Experts?).
2. I believe my trigger is over 1 kg but I don't have any way to check for sure. What if its too light?
Can I still play it just won't be included in the scores?
See 2.05 Trigger Testing. The 1kg (2.2 lb)minimum is set with safety parameters in mind and is
not negotiable. There is lots of movement and awkward shooting stances. Too light of a trigger pull may result in an accidental discharges or negligent discharge.
Do you have a local gunshop or gunsmith that can test it for you? You may try doing the test procedure your self from 2.05. If you bring the appropriate tools with you there may be an opportunity to tune in the trigger by borrowing a gauge from one of the friendly shooters at the Sight In Day June 28.
Any shooters bringing a trigger pull gauge??
3. I just need to join the bcra and submit the entry form to be allowed to shoot there?
That sounds about right. Also adhere to the Rules and Code of Conduct. Send in your BCRA application to the BCRA to get your membership number. Send in your registration after the Match Director gets the confirmation of the Range booking. It will be posted here. For restricted transport see BCRA site for ATT information for Military Ranges.
4. I have one 5 shot mag, would another be a good idea? Or even a 10 shot?
I have seen it done with a single shot and a good partner to help

.
I believe most prefer 10 round to reduce the number of mag changes as some stages have only 5 second between exposures

.
5. What type of sling seems to work the best for this?
Experts?
2.01 c. Slings-No limitation on type or style. Stage 16 Old School is shooting prone with no other rest other than sling.
6. About how many rounds is everyone bringing?
Experts?
207 required for the Match. On Sight in Day...depends if you are sighting in or using it as a warmup.
If you do 10 rounds from each distance on the walk backs, eg 10 rounds at 100m, 10 at 200m, ..etc that would add another 60 rounds.
As Ed said below, also add rounds in case of reshoots

BTW I believe in 2011 the winning team used factory ammo.
7. Is there camping near by?
Camping is not too far away. It is Canada Day long weekend so reservations need to be made early. I will be camping myself so I will post what is near by later this week.
8. What did I miss?
.........come to enjoy your self. If you are new then be prepared to have others give you tips, advise and all kinds of assistance

. You will learn tons.
If you are an experienced shooter then this Match is designed to test the shooter, the spotter, the firearm and bullet performance.
Do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of further assistance or post here.
