Antique Status Letter For Download

Wow,good info, just trying to get my first antique handgun. have a friend in the U.S. that is going to sell me a S&W DA FIRST MOD 4 inch barrel 44 Russian. He is sending me a copy of a letter that states this gun was delivered to a address in 1882 by S&W to a address. Does anyone know if this is enough info for me to carry gun through customs,or do i need the RCMP letter also, thanks for now,Grant

better find out what the status of that gun would be in the states first. percusion guns are do not require licensing in the states but a center fire may regardless of age. others on here will be able to tell you for sure.

My Belgian-made British Bulldog doesn't have a serial number, would putting proofmark info under the Serial Number section be enough or should I try to contact the gun techs at CFC again?

I had called CFC and after much "OMGWTFBBQ It's been converted to a modern caliber!?!? Why isn't it registered!?" I was transferred to the Gun Tech phone line, on hold for 1.5hrs only to find out that they had closed an hour before I was transferred. Left a message two weeks ago, no response by phone or e-mail.

I have change the letter again, both the PDF download and the scanned copy. I really had to cram it up to add the new info but it looks pretty thorough now.

I apologize, I have changed to letter once again, this time should be the last. I shrank the main text a size and was able to make the layout at the bottom where you fill in your gun's details nicer. I think it's done, has everything pertaining to antique gun laws as far as I have read in a pretty decent layout on one sheet.
