Get a KAC or Noveske for a little more.
Did a quick bit of research, and thanks to you (and my credit card lol) Wolverine just made $148. CTR and buffer tube milspec
Ha, we'll if that's gonna help ease the pain of spending $$ guess you can pin the blame on me![]()
the current firearms climate dictates your wait for parts may take some patience. if the ban is enacted in the US you may be forced to sell whatever parts you have already accumulated and scramble to purchase any type of ar15 sporter here in Canada.
You could have bought a decent 16" rifle and taken a carbine course.
I though about the DD LPK but its just milspec, the Spikes it's Nickel Boron parts and an ergo grip (swapped with the Miad off my NEA 10.5) as for the BCM I might get one and replace the LMT (putting the LMT on my NEA)
Nickel boron LPK is useless. That part of the firearm does not get that dirty. And it is easy to clean.
Welcome to the club Kratos!
Building you're own is extremely rewarding.
And extremely addicting...
I'd be interested to hear what you think of the trigger that comes with the Spike's LPK once you've had a chance to use it.
Probably not a big deal on a PDW but I'm looking at options for an SPR build.
I'm curious why you decided to have another short barreled rifle as well. I'm not poking at ya, just curious what type of shooting makes them fun.
Cheers
OP asks "Tell me what you think about my AR BUILD"
Half of replies: You should have bought a stock rifle for that money.
Love it!
But it only takes a day in Sask for a transfer if you already have a restricted, bonus of low population lol

He asked for opinions on those in the know.
Personally, I don't reply to anything unless I have something of value to add - this is true to life as it is on CGN.
Having built and re-built more than a few ARs, my comments stand fwiw. There are a few others here that have walked this beaten path over and over...
If it is the build itself that has intrinsic value, buy a new rifle (for that kind of money) and the tools, rip it apart and put it back together again.
As the OP has spent the money and has the parts it's all moot anyways...have fun with your build!
Looks pretty good. Jsut one thing that bother me.
The buffer. I think it's a standard 3oz that S&J sells. I run an 11.5" S&J barrel and I use a much heavier buffer, I would recommend the same >5oz.

I'll keep my eye out for that then, I seen 4.5oz when I was "researching" that was priced well.
Which buffer do you have?
