Norinco 5.56... To Buy or Not to Buy?

I just finished putting 200 Norinco bulk rounds down range with my AR15. 100%. No problems. All within 8" at 100m with a red dot. Fun enough for me. Conditions were +3C with a cross wind.

That $399 was through CanAm, and only if you bought 10 crates. I don't think anyone else has a single crate going for $399.

Well, CanadaAmmo has a family pack of 10 crates for $399 each. And they are $449, not $429.

The shooting edge in Calgary has them for 420/crate. I grabbed two today and there was about 15 left.
These are packed in two - 800 round spam cans

i'd say stock up on this norinco stuff
You never know what tommorow may bring in the way of restrictions

ya buy it if you can use 556. ive had friends in the states ask me to find out if i can ship it to them...they offered double..

I also heard that .556 has a thicker case don't know if its true or not so if reloaded for a 223 it will create higher pressure because the case capacity is reduced because the brass is thicker?

Only a very few cases left though...

I just did a little measuring on some cases, Norinco yellow box marked 223 head stamp C J 93, case length-1.76" bullet-54.6-grs.FMJ, powder-25.6 grs., OAL 2.25". Korean brown box marked 5.56MM BALLE 193M ammo head stamp P S 8 1, case length 1.758", bullet-55grs.FMJ, powder-27.5 grs., OAL 2.25" I don`t know if this helps any, some Win white box marked 223 55gr FMJ was 2.24" OAL and some Rem 223 55gr FMJ 2.17" OAL For the price of this stuff i will run it through the Kel-Tec, till the reciever cracks.
