Update to the pic in post #454. UTG quadrail and TRS-25 now mounted. Will be test driving this weekend to see if function is still 100% and how the accuracy is with everything together. After that is done, the stock is getting stripped and refinished with boiled linseed oil.

Is this still non-restricted in this configuration?

some background.
this is my Ruger 10/22 that i was given as a Christmas present back in 1985 from my parents.
i used it and abused it for 10 years then picked up a new stainless one and have used that since.
the old ruger went into the gun safe and hasn't been out till i did this build last month.

what i wanted to make: a tack pusher

the stock is a Hogue overmolded stock in OD green. (Andeans before they stopped shipping to canada)
the barrel is a Tactical Solutions fluted bull. (wanstalls)
Volquartsen auto bolt release. (Mil-Arm)
Tactical Solutions extended mag release (in OD green) (Ebay)
replaced the buffer bar with a new rubber one. (Canada Ammo)
Scope - is just a cheap POS that i picked up off a friend at his store for next to nothing, will do till i get a better one.
Weaver Rings. (Home Hardware)
Champion Bi-Pod. (Birds Nest Pawn Shop ((High Leve, AB))

i have a bunch of internal stuff coming for the trigger group.
Volquartsen HP Action Kit, Extended Bolt, Bolt Tune up kit. (Mil-Arm)

and what im still searching for..... a higher rail for the top so i can lift the scope up and have some more clearance between it and the barrel, but im having a hell of a time finding someone in Canada who carries a ruger picatinny rail that is higher then the stock Ruger one.

SR22, looks like maybe a Dlask barrel and comp.
Different but stock, and grip too.
