Wanna see what a Russian Refurbed SKS can bring on GB in the States? Hold on!

We lost in Colorado. Not good. The leftists in many states are trying and in some cases succeeding with new anti gun laws. In Mo, the head of the Senate Committee just stated all gun laws have to come through him and he swears it is DEAD on Arrival. It cannot even come to any vote unless he schedules it. So, we think fine there.
A good number of states have already voted to and others about to pass laws that state they will not enforce a Federal Gun Ban. That State Officers will arrest any Federal Officer coming into their State trying to enforce a new Federal Ban of any kind. People are beginning to pick sides now. People I know myself even are arming themselves and stocking ammo when never before did they. Even Liberals I never thought ever would. I see a dark cloud on the horizon cainsey.

Wow .
I'm pulling for all of my American brothers and sisters . Sounds like this is just in the " picking sides " stages .
Do you think it will just end up with some states being have and some being have not guns , or will it be worse ?

i even noticed some gun parts prices are moving up.

every time obama, bedin or diane feinstein comes on tv the prices move up.

There goes Boomer's stats.

I'm hearing everything in firearms is pretty much selling out,not just the proposed ban items. Seems more like stocking up for war to me.
How are you Sean?? Yes, Boomer is going nuts on these prices.
Every thing including reloading is out of stock. Many people down here are stocking just in case that would happen. If confiscation were tried, it may well
start things no one wants to see happen. We are going to see this year. That is the only thing pretty certain.

Maybe thats why the dhs bought up a bunch of guns and ammo, if they got it all then no one else can have a bunch. Just in case it starts to get ugly, God forbid!

Supply and demand. Years back, the US passed tight restrictions on certain rifles being imported to the US. This was back in the early 1990's or so, I don't remember exactly when. Basically it cut off the supply, and some guns were in cargo ships at sea when it happened, and I'm sure, had no other port to turn to at the time than Canada. So if it was not for the president of the day in the US back then, you would see the same SKS prices today in the US as we have here in Canada. It's just the way things work out. I really hope the US can avoid any other leftwing extreme laws. It's sad and shameful what is happening to the law abiding public there, today.

One of the problems here now seems to be that even the Liberals are getting politically scared of what the far left wing in power will actually get passed now.
I have two BIL who don't know one end of any weapon buy both pistols and AR Platform rifles. All in the last 60 days. They have always been anti gun.
All in the late 60 year range and retired. They didn't even ask a price, just bought at full retail!
As a liberal American gun owner residing in Canada, I have to strongly object to the characterization of the Obama administration as "far left wing". What they have proposed is still and all significantly less restrictive than the current laws in Canada. Furthermore, with republicans in control of the house, there is virtually no chance of any major restrictions to gun ownership passing in the near future in the US. Anyone saying otherwise is paranoid, period. Organizations like the NRA, and gun businesses in general, encourage the idea that the government is going to pass some harsh gun control law because, not surprisingly, they are very happy to see people rushing out to buy guns and ammunition -- what business wouldn't be?

Personally, I wish the US would look to Canada as a model for regulating firearm ownership, where individuals are required to have a PAL, but no one has even suggested the idea that gun owners should have a permit.

Wow.. No wonder you no longer live in the USA. You left the land of the free with the seconde amendment to bring your socialist ideas here. I am a proud Canadian and member of the NRA and hope we someday have the freedoms the Americans do

I was just at a gun show in South Carolina...and i saw the saddest looking, beat to hell russians going for over $700...the vendor explained they were pre-ban, but $700 in abysmal condition...that's one expensive parts gun!
