Need a new 9mm. What's your fave and why?

Best grip for mid sized hand I've found. Yes it's prohib but you CAN find some that have been reclassified to restricted.

One ###y Italian. Beretta Px4 Storm in 9mm Inox. Balances great, shoots mild, and one great looking gun. Ambi mag release easily changed side to side, easy mod to change the decocker to type G from a type F

Inexpensive: Ruger SR9 with springs, polished stainless parts, and Rocket trigger connector from Galloway Precision, and a dremel polishing of slide.
With these inexpensive mods ($100) and a bit of time you transform a decent $459 pistol into a pistol that shoots like one that's worth double that...
Mid-range: Walther PPQ, excellent trigger gives it a great advantage out of the box.
Ultimate: Some custom makers like Nighthawk Custom are turning out some very nice guns...

:D:D:D We get ya, I use to feel that way about Glock's. That 10mm shot much tighter than my beloved 639. How can you hate it when the first group you fire makes you shake your head to make sure your looking at the right target. As far as why I'd buy a Glock in the first place ---> 10mm. I liked the 10mm and my bank account liked the Glock. Wouldn't hesitate to get another though.

Nice. I guess I'll be buying a Sig P210 in the next few years, If it had the ugly import stamp I would not even consider it.

The gun is sooooo beautiful that the US markings stand out like a sore thumb. We also get genuine NILL grips while the US versions have some other wood and a different design.
 
Sig 226 Stainless Elite or X-5, both are ALL steel. Install SRT trigger and your done.

But you can't go to far wrong with the STI, Enjoy........
