You have got to be kidding me....

I hope they shoot better than they look cause damn, they are UGGGGLLLYYYY! :)

Absolutely 100% agree. I would pay the extra cash for a Tavor or XCR to avoid the funny looks showing up with something so ugly at the range.

It's like going to prom with the ugliest chick in school just cause she puts out. f:P:

If she's good at putting out and you got a good supply of booze and paper bags, it's a non-issue ;) I actually like the utilitarian look of it. The only beef I got with the rifle "on paper" is with the position of the safety selector.

One more major issue that I see is the fixed sight. Would be krappy trying to put any sort of optic on it.

Non-restricted, .223, uses AR mags, around $1000 with everything you need out of the box to shoot it.

Fugly bullpup rifle aside - can you name 1 rifle that has these characteristics that's not hot, hot, hot?

I can't seem to find any SU16's on the EE.

There are some scope mounting options on it, and I'll wanna mount a 1-4x semi-reflex setup on it eventually.. Initially, I'll probably just make do with an el-cheapo 3-9x Bushnell I got in the parts bin (good enough for the rifle nights at the range).

I'm sure someone could (and will) build a clamp on rail on the front handguard around the ventilation holes.

EDIT - looks like someone already has... in China? That does look pretty sick... and by sick... I mean awesome.

It's going to be freakishly high mounting a scope on that carrying handle - but we'll have to see when it comes in.

Anonymous Asian kid approves...

... Actually, can the front site be removed? Looks like it might be able to be.

Thoughts?

Nothing wrong with irons...

I find it more impressive when someone can shoot what they are aiming at with irons then their 20x scope.

Irons are usually much more durable, do not lose zero nearly as easily and your not dumping out even more money after buying the gun to purchase rings and a scope!!!

It looks as if it can be removed. I'd be interested in seeing a replacement rail for the top piece with the handle. It also lifts off according to other pics I've seen. The gun has lots of potention.

Too many people house shop and complain of paint and furniture, forgetting things can change as long as the foundation works.

You can see from this photo that a cheek weld would be non existent using a rail on the carrying handle.

Funny that an airsoft company is called "real sword" LOL

If shooting this with optics is such a big drive for people...make some kind of pad on the stock allowing for a cheek weld...shouldn't be overly hard

OR

shoot it with irons like a big boy!!! :)

OR

Spend $3000 and get the type 88 and enjoy your flat top

Eww...avoid any KEL TEC products if you shoot more then a handful of times a year on a range...do not hold up well to rough/heavy use.

EDIT: I believe the RFB breaks this pattern tho

There is also the Mini-14...is cheaper then this type 97 but lacks AR mags and most importantly (to most of you guys on here) it doesn't look ninja enough!!!

Don't forget you still need to make room for the path of the charging handle and having it "protect" from hitting thing (including you) is a good thing.
