From what I found on google, they make air rifles and are associated to Jianshe. I posted in the "you gotta be kidding me" thread. Posted a picture of the air rifle and the engravings on it.

How about all the dealers, North Sylva included, quit teasing us all and provide us with an actual info update. We were kind enough to pre-order the s**t out of this thing months ago, and all we ask is an update on what is happening. I get it, teaser pics help maintain the hype. But if we were given an actual update as to were the type 97NSR is in the approval process, you might stop losing pre-orders.

Seriously, I've been having wet dreams about the T97 ever since that photo came out from NS. How hard is it for the dealers or NS to inform us pre-order-ers about the status of the T97? This is a real question.
 
There is NOTHING to HYPE. They won't meet demand for a while. SFRC already sold out 1st and 2nd pre-order and not accepting anymore.


Anyone silly enough to believe HYPE is needed should go HYPE the KSG.

Thing is, people know what the KSG is. It's available in the US, and there's a bunch of videos online. The 97 is something that is pretty much completely new, save for the few guys who had them back before the confiscation.

Once people get their hands on it, it will be taken for granted. Same kind of situation happened with the M305s, if I remember correctly.

I'm late to the Firearms party, but what happened with the M305s? Are you suggesting that price will eventually be steady, or even dropping with norinco products because they are so abundant, therefore no hype is possible?
 
Some of us were stupid enough to purposely wait for the 2nd pre-order batch to guarantee shipment after Apr 1st BC's switch back to GST; Naively believed 1st shipment was Spring. Luv HYPE :rolleyes:

ALWAYS add at least 6 months to what they say. ESPECIALLY when they do not have an FRT. That way you will avoid disappointment.
 
The OP HYPE sure mislead us to believe minor details like FRT was done and that first shipment 4 months away is reasonable. Adding 6 months from now may still be optimistic.
