The external extractor doesn't bother me but I guess there's more features on the left side like slide stop and thumb safety.

I've got a norinco np29 that I would like to put fiber optic sights on. Adjustable at the back. My slide is dove tail cut at both ends. I was wondering how and where to order from? Are the cuts on my slide a standard size? I was told the np29 was a copy of a colt 9mm. Do I looks for sights to fit colt or will kimber fit? Any help would be appreciated.

Q: how comes all the SIG 1911/S&W 1911 has been adv with only left side pics....?
maybe because the external extractor just break the classic looks...or am I too conservative when is coming about how should stay the 1911 in the original standard shape...my2c

Sold it for $400 only, I was in a hurry to get colt 1911, but now I like that norc than my colt, I might sell the colt and buy norc and polish it again..

Wouldn't it rust easily with the fully exposed carbon steel?

nope no rust and i don't even put oil on the frame just wiped and go

im getting a SAM commander in 45 next week and i really want to upgrade the springs in this pistol as well as the trigger and sear/disconnector

every dealer ive approched has kindly said "we dont stock these types of parts" and left it at that

what i really want are use bits off of a higher end commander length pistol but my EE wanted Ad is not providing results

I have a Kimber TLE II that came with a full length guide rod, How ward is it to change that out for a mil-length guide rod? Would new parts just drop in?
