Anyone own one? How do you like it? Been mulling over the idea of buying one for a little while now. I have a Windham Bushmaster and love it. I hear it's the same people from that factory that run Windham Weaponry now after Bushmaster sold out.
Don't have any experience with windham, another brand to consider is core15, good value for money. I am very happy with mine.
X2.... In January I went to Wanstalls to buy a WW... While there I handled both WW and the CORE15... In the end I took the CORE home. I found the fit and finish of the CORE was superior. Almost 2000 rounds down range, and I have been very happy with my choice.
It's funny this seems to go either way, one person tries the WW and the CORE and says that the WW has better fit and finish another guy tries the same thing and says it's the CORE that's better. Form this I have to gather overall they are pretty close and it comes down to individual taste.
just because its not Milspec, doesn't mean much really. In fact the commercial spec tube is larger.
Not to say that the quality of WW is not up to snuff, but it is an indication that cost saving measures have been taken. From what I have read I would recommend the rifle, but I wouldn’t bet a persons life on it.
There are LE groups in the US that currently do, and more are testing and evaluating WW rifles for duty use as they become better know and get better exposure. The WW site has a newsletter section that has a lot of good information about the company, it's activities and their rifles. It's actually a good way to get to know more about them.
At the end of the day HERE, its a paper puncher.

No agenda on my part, everyone should get the rifle they think suits them best. The OP asked for feedback from people who owned a WW rifle, he didn't ask what was the best rifle for life and death situations (a topic I freely admit I have no first hand experience with) however I do own an WW rifle, did a lot of research before I bought it and I like it, just trying to answer the OPs question, not get into a debate on which brands make the best ARs![]()
