Was at my local Canadian Tire last night picking up some Federal Bulk 22lr and as the employee was taking down my PAL info I noticed a single box of Winchester 22lr 500 count with a tag of $3.79.
I asked him to see it, told him that the price must not be accurate. He scans it and tells me it was. I explain the price must be for the sleeves of 50 packs inside the box. He checks again and says no the price is accurate. He even writes down the Canadian Tire product number on the side of the box in case there are any problems at the til.
Sure enough it scans at $3.79 at the til, the checkout girl remarks what a great deal that is in comparison to the federal, I agree, pay for my purchase, walk back to the truck the whole time expecting an employee to come stop me to explain the pricing error...nope.
Just like that Ikea commercial. START THE CAR!!! START THE CAR!!!
