What is a Norinco 1911 worth to you?
There are three ways to look at this deal...
1. I bought a $350 pistol and got a smokin' deal on ammo for 1,000 rounds for only $149 (this is how I'm looking at it)
2. I bought a crate of $329 ammo and got a smokin deal on a pistol for only $170 (this appears to be the way you're looking at it)
3. I bought a gun and ammo package with a value of $678 for only $499 which is a $179 savings or about 26% off so I got the gun for $258 and the ammo for $241

Either way, it's a deal. Some people don't want to have a "stockpile" of 1,000 rounds or they cannot afford the package or someone might have a huge supply of .45ACP and they just want a new postol to play around with and practice gunsmithing or have a backup gun, or want a hammer that is a gun... What is wrong with selling the gun or the ammo away from the package for a "reasonable" price reflected based on the REPLACEMENT cost of that component of the package?

The ammo at $329 in BC would have free shipping but GST/PST so $368.48 If someone wants to sell it for $300 or even $350 shipped it would be cheaper than if they bought it from CanadaAmmo direct
A new 1911 Norc is $349 in BC would have free shipping but GST/PST so $390.88. So if someone is selling for less than that, the buyer is getting a deal.
 
Well, I'll be honest, I just received mine & no issues exist so far, slide is even on the L & R side, there are no machining or production flaws that I can detect. The safety is not stiff at all and it has a nice soft trigger pull & clean break. Generally I am not a Norinco fan but this one was a deal. I'll be toying with the idea of getting another. CanAm I hate you.

How is yours completed? I ordered on the 25th and it still isn't completed. This is really starting to piss me off.

It's bin three weeks now... Pretty pathetic.
