Norinco 1911 Government Model + 1000 rds Combo Deal $499-

The delays most likely aren't the dealer, rather the cfo. It's all apart of the game when it comes to restricted.

That delay only happens when they get around to informing the CFO to start a transfer .
I think people are complaining on how long it takes to get to that point .
But with only so many hours in the day they do the best they can with what they have to work with .

VERY pleased to report that after a friendly IDPA style shoot with some friends at the range the cheap norinco out shot my Glock 21 and my M&P 9mm in my hands. Results will vary according to comfort level of course but for me... this gun was by FAR the most accurate of the 3. I put over 150 rounds through it today without a SINGLE issue. not one. Fed and fired perfectly all day.

I was only using the stock mags as strippers to load the first round. I was using Dlask 8 round mags with the plastic base plate and they worked perfect. the base plate was exactly the right length to fill up the magwell in my Fab grip. They were a friends but I have already ordered 3 for myself.

Another guy I was shooting with had a Norinco commander model (the shorter one). It came from the factory with a few upgrade pieces this cheap model didnt. I outshot him all day and my gun was every bit as reliable as his was and he paid nearly $500 for it after taxes. At the end of the day he asked to shoot mine and was quite diappointed that he had spent so much on his and, in reality, got very little extra for his money.

I think today alone I sold 3 more combos. I know 3 of the guys I was shooting with are going to buy and just keep the guns as back up/beaters. My guess, theyll quickly become must have range guns. Even my one friend with a REALLY nice 1911 that cost him nearly $1500 was impressed, not with the finish or looks of my norinco, but simply by how well it shoots. Which is all that really counts when your buying a $170 gun right.

So, after a long day shooting im %100 pleased with this gun and may very well add a few upgrades and run it alot more than I had originally expected.

I have recently purchased 5 mags from Providence Supplies - 19$ + 1$ for shipping per mag, taxes included. They are brand new, made in USA and working well. They can handle 8 rounds but I feel safer with 7.

You do realize that this the Sponsoring Business Member Forum of CanadaAmmo. They pay money to give us a forum to discuss and a chance to advertise. Maybe advertise other sponsors on their respective forums.

DANG! I better order another before they're all gone! this deal is addictive!

I got your point. I respect it. Somebody asked for the source of the the 1911 mags. I have just expressed my opinion. So, using your logic, a long discussion of the alternative grips from Thailand can be considered deeply immoral... Hmm, it looks ambiguous to me.

woooo, payment was processed on the 25th, purchased just after midnight (so 00:15 on 25th),

mmmm now it really is a race between a thai tug boat with my grips and the CFO/canada post donkey for the gun/ammo

I am taking bets,

2-1 odds on the thai tug boat

I didn't say anything about it being "deeply immoral", I used soft language. What I pointed out is just common sense. Though if that doesn't work for you I'll note that it violates the "Forum Rules and Terms".

Same here, just got the "Order Status Updated We have initiated a transfer to you through the CFC and are awaiting approval before shipping the product to you." this morning, Sunday, May 19 @ 9:58am

Attaboy for working on Sunday, 100 oh sh!t for payment processed on Apr 30, then 19 days to start CFC transfer. A business day or two between payment processed and start of transfer is fine, 19 days is NOT.

This is NOT a question of patience, CanAm can take their sweet time to process payment, wait till XMas for all I care. But good business practice expects them to initiate transfer within a reasonable couple of days payment, NOT 19.

Meh, for the 1911/amm deal and what I got, I'm extremely happy. The three week wait was definitely worth it. I think it is reasonable to cut a vendor some slack, especially when getting such stupendous deals that Canada Ammo is known for. Even if I had to wait at six weeks (because when I ordered I told myself not to expect it sooner than that - playing my own psych game so I won't be dissappointed:p) I'd be clicking my heels about the great deal. While you wait, just go shoot some of your other guns and save more money for the next great deal.:)

exactly, I always have some $ stored away because I can count on can am to throw some big deal my way every so often,

AWESOME deal, who cares about waiting a few weeks?

Another Sunday transfer recipient here!

1:20pm

Can am has moved way out front in the race against my grips via Thailand post.
Looks like this should be an easy win for Canpar/Canam

That will give me time to detail strip and clean the gun before my grips arrive.

More progress on my 1911 & ammo combo order, and they are even working weekends to get the backlog cleared! The cheese curds must be working CanAm, he he.

Cheers
Jay

No kidding, I couldn't help myself, I held out as long as I could, but a second order just went in even before I've got the first.

Yeah, great idea, I'll trade my second .45 for one, make it a stainless and I'll lose all control, lmao. :bigHug:
