Anyone know where I can find a bolt buffer? I had to give mine up, I have one on order from Wolverine Supplies but anyone know where to get one faster? Kinda need it to do this range thing.

EDIT: I just read back some of the latest garble that I missed, and I must say I am hugely disappointed in beltfed. Seriously, I still think the group is impossible with an XCR, but Beltfed, step up to the plate pal, put your money were your mouth is.

The math is correct, the estimation of the grid size and group size was just that - estimation based on a .224" hole and a 1" grid in a photo. .35 or .65 moa, I still stand by my b/s comment, and still want to witness this in person.
I'm on my feet and limping, so I'm on the mend. Patience.;)

Is there any chance this can be done on a weekday? Weekends are bad for me but I'd be willing to make the drive to join in if it was a weekday and I was off work or had enough notice to take a day off.

This is becoming like the wait for the KSG or the T-97. ;)
Weather is good and hop-a-long can probably push a clutch if he can limp :p

Sharpshooter, how may guests are you allowed at your range?

Come on man! How in shape/not broken do you have to be to lay on your stomach and shoot some groups out of a gun! lol

This isn't a biathlon here :D

I say lost by default by now, that's just my 2 cents.

I don't even care if Beltfed is there to get shown up, I'd be happy just to have the 1/2moa XCR shooting witnessed by anyone. I have a hard time believing an XCR can shoot groups like that at 100yds but I can't say I think it's impossible. Highly unlikely but not impossible. I've shot a few XCR's and none were remotely close to sub moa rifles but I've never shot anything other than cheap ammo through them so I don't know what they are really capable of.

Seems like a nice job in handling the gunputzer trolls !

However - you measured your groups incorrectly - Center to center not outside to outside. You can use the tool from outside edge of one hole to the inside edge of the opposite hole for the same results (paper tear is more accurate than guessing center).

Your groups are actually smaller than shows on the gauge.

As for those that don't believe your rifle is capable of what you show - I have a 30 year old colt 16 " AR-15 with countless thousands of rounds through it that still shoots 1/2 " at a hundred (no wind).
I had trouble believing my own eyes, due to throat erosion etc. Many dont believe me but see me do it, or do it themselves (those that can) and change their tune.

My custom Ruger 10-22 can put 10 into a 23 caliber hole at a hundred (no wind, rim thickness sorted ammo) - Impossible ! - Yeah and the witnesses are liars also - LOL !

Dont worry about the putzers, naysayers, and trolls - They would watch you do it and still post negative -- And yeah 3 rd groups are indicitave of the gun. 10 rd groups are more indicitave of the shooter.
 
I'm giving up. As was said, two months for ankle? You can't even do some benchrest shooting?

Hell, you can't even just drive out to meet him at this point???

Ok I was busting belt Feds chops a bit there only for his bet. But I really had no idea how good or bad accuracy is on black rifles. I am a hunting and precision rifle guy who just bought his first black last week which was a xcr. Took it out today under terrible conditions using only a 2x vortex laser scope which only guarantees 3 moa. At 100 yards here's the group. This is nothing special but if I did that with the equipment I was using no doubt op could have done better using his equipment. ohh I forgot to mention im shooting mfs finest lol fmj. My group is 1.4" and again I'm using the worst ammo available, under brutal conditions, lazer sight no fancy optics.
