lol, which is never.....you credibility is done on this one dude. don't bother

:jerkit: yes, I'm concerned what you and the peanut gallery think of my credibility.
I said I'll follow through, and I will.

I can't imagine the OP's barrel will burn out within the coming weeks? (On second thought, that might be an out)...

To all those posting up giving beltfed a hard time or using other XCR's to show their groups (unfortunately much larger groups), think again. Multiple 10rd. groups under 1/2 MOA from a unmodified XCR, I think not. To do it once in a 3 rd. group would be incredible, but possible maybe? However the OP has stated/shown multiple 10rd. groups and at 124Meters no less while shooting on top of his truck box cover. No one here who knows what it takes to shoot 1/2 MOA at 100Yds never mind 124Meters should be giving beltfed a hard time for making this challenge, no one. Based on the facts of the OP's claims it is extremely difficult if not impossible to believe what was accomplished, but not for the reasons of the shooters skill but the rifle he is using. Now if beltfed doesn't make good on his plan of getting to the range to witness this by the end of June, well we will all be sorrowly disappointed and yes his credibility may be tainted but only for not coming through on the challenge.

Now to beltfed please, suck it up and step up to finish what you started (before the end of June), as there are more then a few who like you believe this impossible. The confirmation of this is very likely the reason many are waiting to acquire an XCR and they need to be shown that a grouping of 10Rds. (never mind several) at 124Meters in under 1/2MOA is not easily done from any premium bolt rifle and should not be expected from any mass produced affordably priced semi-auto.

I'm following this thread with interest - but the idea that people are making or putting off buying an XCR based on it is pretty funny. Actually the more i think on it, that idea is entirely consistent with the rest of the stuff in this thread.

I agree^^^

I don't need Beltfed to attend this challenge in order to make up my mind. This is just like having to see the earth from space to believe the earth is round. The XCR will not deliver these results even if you welded it to a 2 ton anvil.

He might have a 1 in 1000 XCR where all the stars aligned at the factory that day and its flawless ? lol I have not fully read this thread , did the op shoot these groups shot from a vice? Because that is match grade AR15 territory if not better , the DI AR15 design is known to be pretty much the most accurate semi auto platform out there. The OP should just make a video or someone should just meet him down at the range to confirm the accuracy.

Just for fun...From a FAST stock XCR-M purchased this year...

Bench, Bipod and Sandbag.

No Wind

100m

Max Gas setting (anything else jams)

I love this firearm!

Boo, your links are not working.

oooops, fixed

I know they are not the greatest results, but I am happy, it is more than I expected. I wish and dream for OPs results with any firearm...DTA SRS maybe?

Oh, and the scope was Bushnell Elite Tactical 5-15X40 with Leupold Mark 4 1-inch Super High rings.

I am going out on Sunday will post results from Lead Sled.

Haha. I'm back on the feet and back to work - just a matter of finding time for this.
Some of you may find this somewhat shocking -I have a life, obligations and other demands of my time other than the shooting sports. Sucks but true.

Good. I'm back in to follow this little wager.

No way you did that. Ill pay airfare, board, food and ammo to bring you to my range to see this. But it will have to wait until after my foot heals of course. I need my feet in top shape before I bench shoot. Doctor said should be better in 16 years. Hopefully you still have it by then.

I've owned 3 XCR's and I'm impressed with your grouping.
The best I could shoot with 5.56 55gr was around 2.5"-3.0"
In my case I also found that the 7.62x39 shoots tighter at 100m
than the .223/5.56mm

Congrats on the rifle and keep up the good work!

Hello,
I recently acquired a rob arm XCR .223 from another gun nutter on the EE (thanks Ben) and this is the range report. Only mods are the NEA AR stock adaptor and the Vltor buttstock (highly recommended) And the PWS brake. The optic is a Sightron SIII 6-24x50 LRMOA in an American Defense 30mm delta mount with QD levers. Ammo was Fiocchi 50gr V-max .223 rem ammunition. Shooting on top of the tonneau cover out of a F-150 with an Accushot Altas bipod. I'm super impressed with this set up, I think that after having groups like these, owning a .223 bolt gun just seems redundant. Enjoy. PS I don't want to hear any flak about the knitted pillows or any other things going on in these pictures. The target was 124 meters away

Wow. That's a tight ass group. I've had my xcr for 3 years or so and haven't turned in a group like that at even 50 meters with any ammo. Pmc 55 gr and the Pmc x-tax 62 gr tip group pretty decent for me. Nothing in the realm of that though. The norinco stuff I'd have to use my whole hand to cover the 10 round group. I'm gonna pick up a box of that fiochi and try it out.
