VZ58 Reclassification?

What do you mean?
My guess the poster meant to say that it will become/remain "restricted" to him and other present owners who will become newly grandfathered licence holders...(wishful thinking though)

I hope they arent allowed to import anymore and so they will be worth a handsome price and ill be one of the few poeple that have one and everyone else will be jealous of me

TSE was selling the vz58 non-restricted for $1000 new. They had two and now both are gone.
$250 less than retail is a deal on the EE haha.
So, in the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king!? How about we stop this RCMP nonsense and everyone can have them relatively inexpensively? Perhaps then we will be able to actually fill the mag without any "tarded" rivet in the way (5 to 30 rds), even if only at the range...you know like a shotgun!?...let me dream in vivicolor before they take my eyes.
Have you checked EE? They already are a handsome price.
People will just buy CSA's if we can't get the VZ. Not worried about it though, they will be fine

How do we stop the RCMP nonsense? Change the laws.
Make the RCMP accountable for all their decisions impacting citizens legal property and legal rights in front of a parliament committee.. Make their initial decision stand no matter what comes after.
You can't change your mind just because you feel like it. That sounds a whole lot like a king waking up one morning and telling his army to put everyone wearing orange in prison.
So if I happen to have a safe full of suddenly reclassified non restricted firearms into prohibited firearms, I'm suddenly a criminal? What did I do exactly that made me a criminal one morning and the morning previous I was a law abiding citizen. How does that make any sense?
I'd also stop wearing orange I think, might be prudent...

The devil is in the details. The official reason will be "because it is made from parts deemed illegal by law", not "because we don't like it". The poorly written law is what has made paper criminals of so many.
Anti logic presumes the object of the violence is what causes violence, not the personal intent behind the act which we as gun owners know to be true. When anti's make anti gun law, they tool used to carry out the intent of those anti gun laws is the RCMP. Remove the intent, and the act will not be. Change the law, and the RCMP as they currently are in the role they have, will not be an issue.
Don't fight the symptoms, fight the cause.
The main problem we have is that we are by far a minority in our society with little to any political clout. Anti gun Bill's can be enacted to Law by Parliament with impunity. Until we as a group become vocal and very public in order to sway public opinion, we will always be treated as 2nd class citizens that are to be dictated to. Problem is most of us don't even let next door know we own firearms for fear of it becoming common knowledge and having them stolen, let alone volunteering for the poster boy of "the movement".
But hey, at least "they" give us the internet where we can b1tch about it, right!?
