seriously, any chance of getting that 9" barrel version of the Chiappa mares leg Wanstalls? I would LOVE one if they were NR.
Big +1 on this.
I'm waiting for this... credit card in hand to order the moment they are announced.

I just wonder if you anybody who has Rossi ranch hand in 38 special/ 357 magnum has problem with reload 38 speical with Lead Semi Wad Cutter bullet, My Rossi is kinda jammed with those type of bullet, I can still shot it but it's really hard to cycle each bullet. I have ton of Blazer 357 magnum hollow point round bullet without any problem. Thanks.
I have trouble shooting .38spl as well, the gun will often feed two rounds resulting in a jam. It runs flawlessly with .357 though. I've tried a few different .38spl rounds and they all have problems.
I still need to do something about my sights as it shoots high. What's the cheapest way to remedy this?

I read through about.. 150 pages of this and was wondering what the consensus was on baby carbine sights? So far this is my idea for my eventual 357 Ranch Hand:
1. Boyd full stock (Winchester 94 PRE-64)
2. Skinner Barrel Mount Peep Sight
3. Skinner Front Sights (.650" Tall)
4. Steves DVD Action Job Kit
5. Rossi 92 Tool kit
I've seen a lot of people talking about the open sights and very little on the skinners. Are they a solid enough choice or is there something a bit better? (Any opinion on the Steve safety peep?)
Thanks for any insight you guys can give.
I am using the Steve's high front sight and the low rear buckhorn sight and I get poi=poa.

Just wanted to add my latest load here:
330GR Beartooth WFN. 20.5 gr H110. 1383 FPS. Yup.
PLEASE NOTE: do not use my load data for your gun. Please do your own research on loading for the .45 Colt and your firearm. This load is pretty much guaranteed to blow up some .45 colt revolvers.
I've been through several sight iterations. My Ranch Hand is in 45 Colt and I was close to POA=POI with a .538 Marbles front and the elevator removed from the stock rear. I am now POA=POI with a .570 Marbles front and a Bullseye rear. This is shooting Wolf 250 grain cowboy loads at 20 yards. Initially with stock sights I was 8"-10" POI above POA at 8 yards with the Wolf load.
Does anybody know where to buy that stock set on the bottom rifle?
Been looking on this thread and elsewhere and probably missed it but does anyone know who carries aftermarket levers for the RH? (And ideally ships to Canada). Looking for regular lever size Only found a lever reshaper and Numrich seems to be out. Many thanks.
