If factory ammo give me satisfaction (.3-.4), i wont reload for it, those are not expensive compare to other... JP.I've been holding on to a 6.5mm barrel for quite some time trying to make this exact decision.
I'm with the 6.5x47 crowd on this one...it gives you that extra room in a mag for ideal seating depths which seems to be the only real limitation to the .260.
The Lapua brass is a big factor for me too...Hornady anything just doesn't do it for me (except 178 A-max in .308).
The Creedmore wins for availibility of factory ammo, but that doesn't matter to me.
Just my .02
I shoot the 140 grain JLK with a BC of .612 flung downrange @ 2990 fps......The 260AI is the best cartridge to date in our BOOKS.......The most accurate, hard hitting out of all the 6.5ers!! I shoot 3 inch groups @ 900 yards with mine.....HEy ill give the PM11 abit of credit, also the best optics in my book!!!

Routinely no.....but i can go out, shoot a 5 round group, once im i dial in(if you know enough about shooting long range, yes you have to dial in...takes a couple shots most days) ill shoot a 3 inch group,i will have 1 or 2 fliers like everyone else!! ABIT to much coffee this evening maybe Marco....Wow... thats some gun you have! Must be something to go out and shoot "groups" (plural?) that would set 1000yard Light Gun benchrest world records! Routinely no doubt.
