BUT the lower parts kit I bought was missing the disconector return spring as well as the rear take down pin. anyone have any spares?

I've never had an AR before, anyone already know what they're planning for their's? I'm thinking I want a 14.5" barrel. Don't know what I'll go with for an upper.

i'm really kicking myself the last couple days, I've been pondering a dedicated .22lr build for a while this would have been a good start.

I am planning a 10.5" mono upper build for this lower.

yes still restricted. if you like the SR22 go ahead... I don't like it.
I want the option to be fully interchangeable with almost anything AR15... caliber included (so M&P 15-22 is out too)

It would still be restricted. A lot of people want an dedicated AR .22 for consistency in training. The SR-22 may feel like an AR, but the manual of arms is completely different. Thinking about turning my lower into a .22 dedicated rifle too... or 10.5".. So many choices...

10.5" was another idea I had/want,...... ARG! why didn't I buy one!

I hope some of you guys plan on posting builds with these lowers. i'll get a 2nd AR15 one day, no major rush.

Haha I meant to say anodizing not parkerizing. my bad. With some oil on there to dark it up maybe it wont look to bad..... I hope lol. If not guess I'll I finally have something to dura-coat.

Just got mine. No "Z" in the serial number.
No "Zombie" version - oh well.
But a new AR to build.......
