Chicken Bullets

I carry little shot shells for my .444 marlin , 12 grains of unique, then a cereal box wad, then #4 shot , then a reversed gas check , roll crimp over the gas check enough to hold it in place . My best day was 2 roughies and a button buck

My non-poultry reduced loads are 100 grain .312 pistol bullets shot out of a Enfield rifle.

Not having a .32 pistol, I didnt know that the so-called .32 bullet is actually .312 dia.
Thats good to know!

Yep prohib on the basis of 32 caliber but are truly 31 caliber ... No other non prohib pistols use a .31 caliber bullet right...... Swing and a miss you liberal mouth breathers

I worked up a load that was inspired by the game getter for my 30-06. It uses pistol powder with a 00 buck shot between 600 and 900 FPS. I think I am going to stick to 900 FPS. I also have a box of 110 grain round soft point rifle bullets I might mess around with. I was thinking that the increased weight at a lower velocity might be nice because of the decreased noise.

I load up some light for caliber bullets seared backwards over a small charge of red dot. By seating them backwards I won't get them mixed up with a hunting load.

Sorry, I should have realised you eastern guys wouldn't know that we refer to ruffies as "chickens" in AB and probably most of the western provinces.
