Hope this hasn't been covered already. I couldn't find a previous post to this effect.
Apparently a problem has cropped up with the drilling of the gas port hole on the first versions of the non-restricted T97s that are currently being sold as outlined in the following thread.

I am given to understand that the CanadaAmmo versions of the T97 are somewhere between the 'not manufactured yet' stage and the 'they're on the boat heading here' stage.
If it's the earlier rather than later stage you might be able to short circuit a lot of customer dissatisfaction by checking to make sure the same issue won't arise with your version.
I know you're usually very much on top of these things but I thought it would be worth mentioning anyway. I also have a self-serving interest because I've been waiting patiently
for my order to get one since around 2009 and on top of the great price not having this problem would be a bonus.
