Google says a standard m305 weighs 4.28 kg. that works out to about 9.5 lbs with a 22 inch barrel.

A shorty m305 weighs just a little less with 3.5 inches less of barrel. As this socom and the shorty differ only in muzzle features, the weight would be comparable.
 
Is this new batch of m305 finished and fitted better then the one we saw lately on the forum from another seller, with indexing problems, and the receiver that seemed to be shaped with a coarse grinder!

What can we expect as far as price increase, 50$, 100$ 200$?

I would like to get one of these, but if it's a new run, I'm a little bit afraid to be the guinea pig after the experience I had with my T97, but then again, if it is the same design, but improved I might jump on it before the price goes up.

On the other end, if the price increase equals a quality increase, it might be worth it in the long run!

X2 on the price, ball park figure would be nice, I saw the M305 on two sites for $600 and over , I really hope that is not the new price.
 
Lol, true, but who knows when the next panic will be, if you are counting this one, well, these are already paid off in regards to China, unless canam fronts guns from them :D. I dunno, if there is no change to the rifle, I don;t think they will be flying off the shelves like they do now. I could be totally wrong though. Oh well, just got to wait and see, I want two of them lol, hopefully they have a #### load of these and will still be there in a month or so. If the new price is over 650, I am undecided if I will even buy one.

For 500 beans this rifle is a killer deal, I couldn't resist any more. I already have a shorty but I wouldn't be interested if they went up to $750 so I grabbed another for good measure.
 
Guys.... 50% more than the price (was 429-449) = 645$-675$ Max!

In another thread from another dealer/importer... They said AROUND 599$+shipping...
 
Figured out one Socom combo + one Socom extra... This is 1400.00 for a lot of stuff and if they ever rise to 750.00 a piece, there will be happy campers to have moved before the SHTF...It's like getting 400.00 of free ammo... In my book that is... JP.
