collectible sks

I'm sorry, I have nothing to contribute. I would have dropped everything and sold my spleen to fund that rifle.

Live and learn haha. At the time I just didn't know. At least I took pics. I went back and it was gone.

Well it would seem no one but you feels the same since people have taken the time to respond, so maybe you should have saved yourself the thirty seconds it took you to respond and not responded at all.

If we all searched the net for all our firearm questions and not post them here then I guess CGN would get mighty boring. Its just like people that suggest searching here on CGN before posting any questions assuming that no new members would have any extra info to add.

x2

I love a great retort :D

Well then ladies and gentlemen, after looking through this thread I have decided not to buy a sks at all, I will stick with the superior red rifle instead. Thanks for your time.

Is that a tampon dispenser on the folding stock rifle ?

It's a free world, but really? A $250 rifle turned you off because there was a conversation about quantity and collectibility?
Either way, enjoy your toys. I have many, and I enjoy them all.

I prefer my SKS to the CSA I had. The SKS you don't need to worry about, it's not a fancy $1000 rifle, it's something to run a crate of ammo through and have a great time doing so. It's also collectible in certain flavours.

I didn't get that vibe from my vz58.

Well you shouldn't. The CSA is a newly manufactured gun. No milsurp history there at all.

He started a thread about collecting a certain rifle, then abandoned the idea to buy a couple of totally different rifles with no historical value whatsoever as shooters.

Actually i have had these well before this thread started. I dont really care for sks and norcs. I was just curious because of some cheap sks for sale that i was wondering if i could flip.

And no historical value? The sks is the east bloc embarrasment that was ditched in short order. The vz58 is still in use today. Yes it has no heritage whatsoever.
