Constantine barrel package got flaged by CBSA it seems.
A big fat yellow sticker on it, saying the parts were wrongly declared. (was written ''spare part'')
The big yellow CBSA sticker was saying ''gun parts'' lol.
Seems like they might watch his stuff closely. A few members have stucks bolts at the customs... (myself included)
This makes me nervous, I have a barrel in the mail from Constantine.
I still got it without any issues. However my bolt is stuck in Missisauga since the 10th of November...
It's ''supposed'' to be legal to import those parts. (I harrassed the RCMP and CBSA about it.)
the 3-7 days estimated delivery put it here for Saturday at the latest so if it's not here by Monday I'm gonna start making some inquiries.Item has arrived in Canada and was sent for further processing.
My barrel has been the since the 14th and all it says is the 3-7 days estimated delivery put it here for Saturday at the latest so if it's not here by Monday I'm gonna start making some inquiries.
I foolishly waited me wen I decided to do a (FRAUD ALERT) inquiry it was 12h10...f#&$!%! 10 minutes after the cutting day so I am pretty shure I am out of luck and will loose my money.
Here is a good question. Since numrich sells then why did it get hold up at the border ?
I think Numrich only ship them here ''stripped'' (not 100% sure however)
CanadaPost told me to call only if not received after 6 weeks... CBSA is saying they don't have it. Will call again monday.
What number did you use to get ahold of a real human, I've gone through everything I could on the 18666076301 that pertained to tracking and it all just gives me a bs thing about it being international and to track online. Can't even hit 0 to talk to a representative.
Edit: Grinded my way through the services finally talked to a human he tells me that it went for further processing with borders services so I ask if they will be able to tell anything from my tracking number he says "Yep, they can track it in their system with the tracking number". So call border service get a rather rude lady, tells me they don't have a tracking system and if it didn't specifically say on Canada Post tracking that it went to them then it didn't. Tells me the Canada Post guy lied and that CP has 60000 packages moving through warehouses a day right now so that's likely why it is held up. Funny though because I have part that came today from a member that went through Mississauga and got here in a day and a half.
You have to prove that the part is legal to Canadian Border Service's. They can send it back or destroy it and there isn't much you can do about it. I had to research and inform them that
a rifle magazine was legal in Canada. It was sent to Ottawa for destruction. They then sent me more question's that they wanted answered. After four month's of this, it just came in the mail without any notice from them. So, you
had better be prepared to prove your case.
Your joking, right?. Coulda fooled me.with my real bad english
