I am not buying into any of this. The OP bought a gun from a close personal friend of mine and drove him nuts about absolutely nothing, Finally my friend said take it to a gunsmith and if he tells me there is a problem I will take it back. In short the smith said the gun was perfect. I am sure there is more to this story then is being told.
Anyone with any brains knows that in Canada we have to go through the Canadian Dist. or they should know. I am betting the OP got rude with the people at Kimber and then they told him to pound sand.
