10,000 Enfields!

Look Ok to me. 5000 longbranch rifles would'nt take long to sell out.

These would have been given to Italy after the war as military aid, so from one wharehouse to another. If they are imported to Canada I hope that the importer takes the time to sort the bolts and match them up.

Yup some look like they were rode hard, and put away wet, but I'd love to have a few hours to hand pick a few. Hell if we won the lotto I'd bring the whole shebang back to Canada, and match and sort. :D

Anyone know what they want for these?
And if they will sell individual rifles?
I asked in an email, but I doubt I'll get a reply anytime soon.

There is no virtually no market for them in the UK, no market whatsoever in Ireland or France. I think they are worth $ 75 each top whack.
Actually you will see a strong market for them in Europe. Certainly LEs cost more in the UK than here, and they can and are still bought and sold. As for the 'continent', places like Hege and Frankonia carry a wide range of Milsurp, both as shooters and as Dekos. ANd thier prices are always higher than here. Even as deactivated guns thier prices are higher in europe. Certainly in the past I post pages from the Hege catalogue, and it surprised folks here what the Euro prices were like. The thing that might keep them from going to germany or the UK is the number, 10000. I would say a US buyer would be more likely. But hey, if a Canadian dealer can grab some, a #1mk3 tanker could be really sweet :)

Please, God, bring these old ladies home. 5k #4Mk1 LB - sweet Jesus. I'll take three. And happily volunteer for bolt matching duty.

..and wait a minute - If I'm reading this correctly, this outfit has a Canadian distributor, and they have access to Radoms, Nambus, Sistema Colts from Argentina, Inglis high-powers, monstrously long Arisakas...

Am I reading this correctly? Is this some cruel day-before-April-1 joke?

This could be the start of a horrendously expensive relationship.

Im surprised the CDN govt hasn't bought up the whole lot at around 1200 per rifle....Then spend another 1000 per rifle getting them 'refurbished' In Quebec for the 'rangers'

But they no doubt have some 'dinosaurs' in the boiler room with blank cheques ????

On that side note....I saw a thread on replacement rifles for the rangers any more prospects ???

Why would you guys want 10,000 LE rifles flooding our little market? That would drive the price of LE rifles through the floor. Think cheaper than US prices, full wood no. 4 rifles for 100 bucks...shipped...

Sounds good to me! I'll take a dozen.

and this is bad.... how.....

so the dozzen or so I have now are devalued... so what

I would add half a dozzen more to the collection at that price, and when the 5000 No4 run out the prices will rebound.

They have a canadian dealer listed on thier page, I have sent them an email inquiring about prices for individual rifles and lots, I'll let ya know what I hear back!

Will not ever happen until the guys in 1 CRPG decide they don't like the No. 4 anymore.

If the ad is genuine, now is a great time. I would think that with the Torys in power, it should be easier on importers to bring firearms in.

But I have a feeling that the enfields will probably wind up in the States even tho they will fetch a better price in Canada.

I would love the job of matching bolts on those rifles - probably take months.

Relax guys...

I just got off the phone with my lawyer/importer/and Gweido.

I got all 10,000 guns for about $12 apiece

(Im also outrageously loaded and prone to fits 'delusional granduer')
