10/22 photos - post 'em up here!

Looks like a Bell & Carlson Anschutz Style stock, am I wrong?

Can be seen HERE though they no longer ship to Canada.

I'm sorry, I don't know where in Canada they can be purchased.

Just found a distributor who is licensed to ship to Canada.
Google Aftermarket Innovations out of Oregon.

My 9" NEA barrel arrived from SFRC, ran a few rds thru it last night to test function with rem yellow jackets and blazer. I was worried it wouldnt chamber blazer with the match chamber but there were zero issues. Got the new TRS-25 sand as well and have some HK 416 sights on order. What I like best is the report. It doesnt have that lackluster report of longer barrelled .22's that bores me to death, its got a pretty good snap to it now that really sounds good. Hearing protection is now required :) BTW the Levang comp is 2" long and sticks out about 1/2" past the handguard, the muzzle is back 1.5" This thing is SHORT

i typical purchase BC steel lip mags in clear because thats whats available readily around me.

I typical use a paint called "VGH Night Shades" its a translucent black smoke for automotive taillights. I like using it because it still allows you to see the rounds thru the magazines very slightly, and you can spray them to your desired darkness just by adding an extra coat.

My work in progress...

... Took my 20 something year old 10/22 out of the safe for a little "modification"... NEA 9" barrel, Vortex brake, NEA chassis, something or other stock / buffer tube, and a Hogue pistol grip. Still to come are the DD 7" free floating handguard, some kind of optic, rail covers and a sling...

I thought this project was going to be a little more fun than it actually is - I've had a few hurdles to overcome, the least of which was the NEA chassis being supplied without the 4 screws that help mate the upper shell to the top of the factory receiver - Hopefully NEA will provide me with replacements for those, along with the noted washer in their installation instructions I'm fortunate to have a great gunsmith locally who was able to get me a few 6/48 screws to get things mounted up for a dry fit. All this said, it should be fun to shoot, and very non-restricted once I pin out the shortest stock position. Once it's completed I'll throw some more photos up....

lookin good trooper  The flutes in the vortex will sit partially in the handguard but shouldnt cause much trouble. And to all those who whined about the finish, its hardly different from other milspec anodizing and looks almost the same as the finish on my MI hg's. Must have been the lighting or something when NEA took the pictures of it.

If you want it to look like a "blaster" you should take the stock off completely and put a bushnell t-dot on there! Judging by your name thats what I thought u were goin for! lol Looks cool!
