just finished 2 builds tonight.
the first is one ive been working on all winter.
(if ya look back in the posts you will see version 1 of it)
it started as a 28 year old ruger 10/22 that i got as a kid.
stripped it down to nothing and started from scratch.
had a couple problems and had to ditch the original barrel i had on it and then upgraded some more.
NOW, finally done, and this is what im left with.
FrankenRuger
ok, build list.
Dlask reciever (with built in high rise rail for BIG scope)
Dlask 18 1/2" heavy bull barrel (threaded)
Dlask compensator.
Hogue OD Green Overmolded Stock.
VQ Bolt, pin, ejector and springs.
Kidd Trigger group assembly (not in the pic, had it out today at for some testing)
one in the pic is stock ruger trigger housing with all VQ parts inside.
VQ buffer bar and Bolt Release.
VQ set screw trigger.
Tactical Solutions extended mag release (in OD green)
Dlask Charging Handle (with a scull on it!)
the gun is HEAVY!
that barrel is a brute!
its gonna be a bench shooter for sure!
2nd one i finally got all the pieces for tonight and put together.
Brand new Ruger 10/22, right out of the box.
pulled out the bolt and trigger group, everything else went into the parts bin.
put it all into a Dlask Reciever with built in top rail.
Dlask 8 1/2" Bull Barrel (threaded)
dropped it all into a Boyd SS Evolution (Sky Blue)
Charging Handle is a Tactical Inovations Skeleton extended one.
Mags are the Tactical Inovations aluminum ones.
the first pic has the thread cap on the end, 2nd pic has a Tactical Solutions Compensator on it.
as you can see ive run into a problem... it wont go all the way down.
im having a custom made one from MadMac's Precision Tactical made.
and i havnt decided on an optic yet.
im leaning towards the new Redfield Revenge one.
im contemplating taking some of the parts off this one and sending them out to be re-anodized blue but havnt decided if im going to do it yet or not.
at any rate, these are the 2 builds that have kept me buisy all winter.
i cant wait to get them to the range and test them out!
