10 mm auto dead?

11.0 gr. Blue Dot with a 180 gr. Gold Dot in my G20SF makes me happy!

That's my load!! Blue Dot is THE 10mm powder to me. Too bad you can't get it anywhere... I just got lucky and bought 8 pounds just before it was gone. I've loaded 800X but Blue Dot I can't explain it, it just feels like a smoother impulse when fired. But you sure know you did!! Load it with 155 grn XTPs as well.... Only 6 inches low at 100. Pure beauty.

Most modern, all steel, fully heat treated 1911's will handle 10mm just fine.

Handle it sure, but for how long? I've always preferred beefier guns like the 1006 and Glock 20. I did have an STI Perfect 10 that shot as smooth as silk though! I guess that's close.

How about the .400 Cor-bon? Similar ballistics, lower p.s.i., headspaces on the shoulder so heavy roll crimps don't affect it, abundant 45acp brass, oftentimes all that is needed for conversion from .45acp to .400 Cor-bon is a drop in barrel ...........

got to love my Delta's, FrakenTen rocks them both though

I like to let people shoot my stock Delta with 155 xtp's, then let them try the comped version, what a difference it makes
