If they do sell to Canadians i will buy one just for fun. Its does not look like a real thompson of course but at least it will be fun to play with.
I'd get one for my dad, who loves 1930's movies...

I thought the originator of this thread would want to import them but perhaps not
This will take time no doubt, so please have patience. ; )
what we have is a guy in canada trying to build one for us and then refering us onto someone who is currently in production, great stuff. Jefferson
Awesome work FunGun, many thanks for all of your efforts. I for one, am looking forward to seeing this kits up here. If there is something we can do (i.e. get members to commit to a group buy, etc) pls let us know......we may be able to consolidate shipments with other exporters and reduce costs. I will be working on it.

Update: I'm just back from the SHOT Show.
Rick Timmins from Alberta Tactical Rifle Supply stopped by and checked out a
assembled Tommy Kit. He made it clear he was a true .50 Cal Guy but he did lower his standards (LOL) to take a look at the .22 Fun Gun Kit for you. Hopefully Rick can post here when he gets a chance. : ))
At the Show was the US Dept of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security; I spoke with them about how to get my Kit approved for export. The first step is I have to submit a Kit sample and application for export approval to the State Dept. They will determine if the Kit is legal to export, and if so, what agency will control it. A separate export license for each and every shipment must be obtained ($$$). Export has to be in fairly large quantities for each shipment to offset the export license cost.
After export approval is received, we may be able to consolidate shipments with other exporters and reduce costs. I will be working on it.
