An MP5 look alike kit would be nice, there is one available in canada but the price and look seems to be a bit off the mark.

You don't need to be concerned as it's not a variant, it's a 1022 ALL DRESSED UP AS AN MP5. There's a big difference here. An MP5 or variant is a prohib but a 1022 is still just a 1022 regardless of what you add to it to dress it up.

Well... at this time, Fabrice has officially announced the M249 10-22 kit (american C9 versions, standard and para):

But personnaly; an MP5 kit would be my next 10/22 project. An AK47 kit would also find a place in my inventory.
