12.5 grizzly with pistol grip length

Depends on the pistolgrip but should be under 26"....witha 14" barrel there are a few grips that will get you over 26" or close.

it may be alright depending on the grip, i tried a top folder on my 8.5 and it wasnt too far from 26 i think.

edit nm : just remeasured : its a little under using that configuration on mine.

We need a slightly thicker sling attachment.
I think the one I have on my 15.5" Griz puts it very close.
If it was a little thicker, it should make 26 OAL.

Funny thing is, Even though my breacher is silver soldered on, and adds 2" to the barrel, it doesn't count. But adding a spacer between the pistol grip does.

???????????

There's the Knox breachers grip. That might be long enough.

There's also a PG that projects to the rear rather than down. I cant think of the make of it though. Choate maybe? Someone posted a 12.5 grizz here with that one before though. Its over 26"

That doesn't count towards barrel length if you're trying to make a restricted firearm non-restricted. It should count just fine for OAL where the length of the barrel is not an issue.

A speedfeed witness protection (birds head) is right around 26 inches with a 14" barrel.
Here's a shot of a 12.5 with the knoxx folder(terrible stock) which is similar in length to the breacher..

Not according to Joe Dlask.
He told me it doesn't count, and we are talking about keeping a pistol gripped shotty non-restricted.
Barrel length aside, it has to be over 26", or it is restricted.
The length of the barrel only comes into play when it is cut, not manufactured.

Too bad someone wouldn't come out with a pistol-grip similar to what an AR-pistol looks like with the buffer-tube still in place.

Like this, just to get people on the non-restricted side of the 26" OAL regulation...

Offer different length tubes to accomodate different length barrels (9" tube for 8.5" barrel, 5" tube for 12.5" barrel, 1" tube for the 16" barrel)...

Well this one will get you to around 25 inches or so with a 12.5" barrel so if you added another inch or so to it would be good to go...

The problem is the Dlask and Blueline short shotguns is that they are classed as handguns. Obviously from Dlasks perspective adding a attachment to the barrel isn't going to change the firearm 'type,' much less class.
