13 inch MSW IWI X95 Tavor now Prohibited

Don't flatter yourself as my comment was directed to Marc ,who I consider a friend. Your previous comments had no bearing on my response. Phil.

Uh yeah, you were responding to his comment that was literally quoting me... which means yes, you were referring to my previous comment which was the subject of the post you agreed with lmao.

Yet the other Prohibs declared by the OIC of May 2020 and even the FRT opinions have the benefit of the now extended to October 2025 Amnesty. Why no t these also?

I quoted you so that there could be no mistake in what you were suggesting, which was that the relatively few MSW owners "take the hit" for the rest of the firearms community by refusing to comply with the 30-day confiscation deadline and just sucking up the undoubtedly painful government response. That response would likely include RPAL revocation, loss of (many) Prohib and Restricted firearms within MSW owner collections, possibly frozen bank accounts with associated financial devastation, etc. The government's ability to #### with firearms owners is more or less unlimiited, whereas we MSW owners are relatively defenceless without hiring VERY expensive lawyers.....

So, at the risk of repeating myself, your suggestion sucks and I for one have no intention of serving myself up for "special government attention" by refusing to comply on a Restricted firearm with very limited (~250 units?) distribution.

Phil - thanks for the support, my friend. I feel your pain WRT potential future government action against our respective collections....

^ ‘Cause that’s the pettiness of a small-minded, spitefully natured government to further stick it to us on the eve of an undeniably looming extension and to save face with their Karens.

Hello CGN Members.
I have been in contact with the NFA regarding this certificate revocation on the Tavor X95 MSW. If you look on your revocation notice there is a statement that you may refer to a provincial court judge. If you do this you are allowed to keep your certificate until the hearing is complete. The NFA is wanting to organize an individual hearing for every one effected by this revocation with their lawyer as it can not be done "en masse".

These firearms were built as Semi-autos from the factory and were built solely for the civilian market according to the exporter. Please do not delay in reaching out to the NFA on this matter. You can reach them at.

Interesting that the X95 MSW is intended to be semi-auto from the time the mold is made for the frame / body.

The other models use a different mold, hence the different marking and capabilities, etc.

Can someone who has access to the IWI techinical manual please send it to robin@impactoutdoorsupplies.com. Thanks they need it before tomorrow afternoon AB time.

Interesting. No info on how they would separate "theirs" from other importers (by serial?) and how and if there would be a compensation to second hand owners. But it kinda nice of NS to step up. I know ppl don't like them but I had good interactions with them (not related to warranty service).
