A couple 1918 M1911's I recently picked up, early brush blued and a later black army. Pretty happy with these two as not often found in this condition.

Nice, the engraved CC are hard to come by, top one the officer scratched his intitials into the finish on the slide. bottom one is engraved on the front strap.

Nothing special, just a SAM Commander model I just got from Wolverine. It's a lot nicer than I was expecting. I had my 1000 grit sandpaper and flitz ready to clean it up a bit, but the slide just glides across the rails without effort. Looking forward to putting some rounds through her!

The inter-war Colts are truly art. The milling on the small parts is beautiful and overall attention to detail is amazing. My 1929 Super .38:





And a Hartford-built Argentine contract pistol (refinished):

Beautiful! I've seen a video of it as new 2016 offering by Colt.
It is a lightweight frame? How's the main spring housing, is it steel or made of delrin?
