1911's Pics Thread

Picked this one up last week: It's an early production Springfield Armory 1911-A1 parkerized.

Got it for cheap with 2 mags, a Bianchi IWB holster, a box of ammo and 100 185gr. FMJ hollow point bullets.

Changed the grips, cleaned and oiled it. Looking good now!!

FML.....1911 perfection

This is my Norc. There are many like it but this one is mine.
She's wearing water buffalo bone grips, and although not installed in the picture, I have a fusion firearms K hole trigger and some black hex head grip screws on the way for her.
Also, some day she'll have a new safety and slide stop to match the bluing and not that ridiculous matte grey that came stock.

Para Ordnance P14 LDA

I bought this new in 2007, although I'm not sure of the actual year of production... but it is made in Canada.

The round count is well north of 4.5K and I have N-E-V-E-R had any issue with this firearm.

I've put everything from ++P Corbon and Golden Saber rounds, to cheap, cheap junk... and Z-E-R-O issues.

None.

Beautiful Colt Combat Unit BlackWatch!
It shares the same frame with the O1070CQB.

Too bad MARSOC is dropping their M45s. I wonder what will they do with such large M45s in the armory.

That's a great picture!
