1911's Pics Thread

Between $1500-$2000 on the EE (Insane). I paid mine $875 BNIB + $175 of import fees and taxes. Grand total of approx $1150 if I remeber correctly.

He did a LOT of metal work on this one. I just didn't take pictures of everything.

Nole! Really nice work on the Ithaca, just seeing those other pics now, the metal work and re-done ordnance stamps really raises the quality of the restoration.

Nice, how do the 9mm 1911s shoot? I dont think Ive ever fired one

Don't know yet, I haven't had a chance to take it out. The only commander I've used was a .45 at the mall in Edmonton. Also, I need to do something with the sights. I swapped the rear out for a more traditional one, but I'm pretty sure its too high for the existing front sight. I need to find a new complete set that matches, or make a new front sight.

So you're the lucky guy who bought it. Congrats!:)

Muhahaha! Cute little thing, isn't it?

Actually, when I saw it for sale, there had been a lot of views. Figured it was sold but I fired him a pm saying "I'll take it if it isn't gone." My wife thinks its the Hi-power I bought after Christmas. Not sure how to explain the Browning when it shows up. Maybe I'll lie to her and tell her its for my dad ;).

Or, anybody want to buy a BHP?
