This is my new Trojan, ordered through Armco. Ordered it with the adjustable Noval style sights. It's a 9mm and I love it. This is by far the best pistol I have owned.

I would not hesitate to recomend this to anyone. And it does not have the ugly horse logo on the other side. Just says Trojan.

I got my 9mm Trojan from Gunnar at Armco as well, the Ranger II in 45ACP here on CGN and the others from Sean at Freedom Ventures. One is in 45ACP, one in 9mm, and the Edge and another Trojan in 40S&W, they are all very accurate guns.
Just picked up this Sig Platinum Carry. I think it looks pretty horny!

Here is my attempt at a MEUSOC. This gun started as a Norinco "Police" model 1911. First thing was to tear it down, clean and strip the finish, do a dehorn on all sharp edges. Due to the fact that this gun already had dovetail front sight, one was made to work with this dovetail. Next was to Mil-Spec parkerize all the parts. The rear sight is a Millett Mark 1 fixed. Trigger is a Wilson Combat, the full length guide rod was removed and a standard plug installed. The hammer is a Colt Commander hammer tuned to an STI sear with trigger set to 3.5lbs. Mainspring housing is an S&A flat checkered unit with lanyard loop and to finish it off, original style Pachmeyr grips installed.
This project came together quite well and although not 100%, I am really happy with it. I have a little over $600 Canadian into this gun not including the 15 Wilson magazines and so far I am able to shoot decent 1 hole groups with it @ 25yards. Already in the works is my next generation MEUSOC M1911, this one will sport Novak sights and Gunner grips, pictures will be posted when the project is done.
I would like to thank the following who helped this project come together, mlin and digdeep74 over on the 1911Forum who sold me the rear sights, grips, mainspring housing and trigger, Casey at Tactical Ordnance who did his normal outstanding work and my friend and mentor Ray Canning who helped me gain the outstanding accuracy this gun now shoots, unfortunately, Ray passed away before he could see the end results, but it shoots this way thanks to him, he would be very proud and happy, RIP buddy, this gun is dedicated to you.
