1911's to be found anywhere?

Quite literally all of these 1911's popped up the day after I put a deposit down on one coming up from the states. I hope this import goes through!
 
Just got email notification from Tenda for Springfield Armory 1911 Garrison in 45 for 1300. Jumped on that. 14 in stock as of now. Sucks that its probably a couple hundred above "true" price but whatever.

So true haha. I couldn't resist - pulled the trigger. They're now down to <8 in stock. There seems to be a bit of a delay, so hope my order goes through...
 
Well, I grabbed a Garrison!

I have a Standard Manufacturing 1911 on backorder. I'm a little hesitant if that back order will be fulfilled. Better safe than sorry!

I echo that sentiment. I was also on the fence and was looking at the Tisas from Arms East. My rationale for paying more for the Springfield is that after buying so many Chinese knock offs of American designed guns over the years I felt like I owed it to myself to be true to the history of the gun and go American made this time. The way I look at it is this may be the last handgun I ever buy so I didn't want to have future regrets that can't be changed.
