1911's to be found anywhere?

keep looking on the EE. Some gems coming up now and then. Guy had a S&W sc or performance centre on there for $1700 last week.
 
Been searching everywhere for 1911s. Really sucks that they're either out of stock or ridiculously expensive.
 
rdsc had them and sold out in a second. i let it sit in the cart too long. switzer had them on auction. a brand new colt 45 rail sold for 1700 and a smith and wesson performance center sold for 2300. a nighthawk went for 3.4k
 
RDSC oversold by a lot. Said their point of sale system couldn’t keep up with stock levels? Load of crap basically. They were rude throughout the whole thing and told me I missed it by 2. Still don’t have my refund… Second time in as many weeks a retailer has not been able to hold up their end of the deal. I’m done trying to keep up with you guys! I remember looking at a colt at sfrc a few months ago on sale for 18% off or whatever and seeing it still there the next day.
Not to mention reloading components to feed these things.
If it’s not a conspiracy, I don’t know what it is!
