Well, it's Tuesday night and we just got home. Weather be damned we had a great time and met some great people. Thanks again to Pharoah2 and Captain2k.
We did a fair bit of shooting Sunday and a lot more on Monday. We were all weary by the end of the day. Some of the highlights I'll remember are the many antelope I bumped into, the wary coyotes watching us from a distance, my wife Jacquie's whoop and giggle every time she made a kill, that nasty road made of oatmeal, Baily the Wonder Dog, and Jacquie yelling "BRAINS" after one particularly spectacular kill.
Huge props to Bob and Kevin 303 who stuck out the weather with us. I can't tell you all how sad it was to see you leave early. I don't blame you one bit. The threat of a foot of snow was pretty discouraging.
I'll post more later including pics but I've been five days without a shower and the soap and hot water is calling me.
