She came out to the rabbit distress call, then sat down and waited. She was sold on the mouse squeaker and came in on a dead run, then stopped again at about 100 yards and that was the end of her. .223 Rem 40gr Hornady Vmax over 28.3gr BL(C)-2 (CCI small magnum rifle primer). I edited my post too FYI :D
 
Thanks I just ordered one of the first three OD Green XCR's in 223 that hopefully will be here next month.

My plan is to use if for predator/varmint hunting...

Have a Vari X 11 4-12X40mm that Tony @ Korth just did a warranty check on and upgraded the reticle too a LR reticle it's patiently sitting in the safe waiting for the XCR to arrive....

Wish I had patience...

lol, let me guess he was laying in the box of a pickup and that made its pelt look all washboard like? I had a stupid game warden try to say that I ran the coyote over with a snowmobile to make a pelt look like that, until I showed him my truck with 2 other coyotes in it that looked the same that fit right into the grooves of the bed liner in my truck. Man that made me mad.

You are correct. You should of told him you ran the yote over with a D9 dozer.

lol ya, I wasn't in a joking mood, neither was he, He probably would of charged me right away if I said I ran it over with anything, dont know why he was so grouchy, his partner was all interested on how I called the coyotes in, what I shot them with and what sounds I was using, he was cool but the other guy was just a plain dickhead.
 
I called this one in this evening. My first successful time out. A 200 yard shot, hit him square in the chest. He has a pinky size entry with no exit wound.

I was using a 700 Varmit in .243. It was kinda funny how he came into my call. I saw him bust through a herd of about 15 deer to find a Jack in Distress.

I didnt weigh this one, but he is a little bigger than a male I got last Saturday which came in at a hair under 40 pounds.
