100th Coyote

Hello, popped my 100th yote yesterday,:D , my 100th since I started shooting coyotes in May of 2003. Called this one in from about 1/2 mile away to 100 yards where I popped him, ruined the pelt with a 4" exit hole using my Tikka 3 7mm rem mag, oh well, he dropped like a rock.

Couple of questions...

hey guys...newb hunter here, got my first deer just last year on LEH, so pardon the ignorance. But what-all do you do with a Coyote? Can you (shudder) eat it? Or if not, feed it to your dog or something? And the coat being so small, what could you do with it? Hats? And finally, where in Metro Van would one be able to hunt coyotes? Just asking...

I have the howler and the Ki-Yi... :D

OEM if the hides are good they get skinned and either used for personal use, mounted, decorations in a cabin or outdoor store, sell them to a fur trader etc etc etc or you could just kick it into the ditch because it was killing off your domestic animals or your cats and dogs or full of mange...

Ok... I'll admit it I wouldn't shoot a coyote if it killed cats... :p

First coyote with the XCR! She came out to the rabbit distress call, then sat down and waited. She was sold on the mouse squeaker and came in on a dead run, then stopped again at about 100 yards and that was the end of her. .223 Rem 40gr Hornady Vmax over 28.3gr BL(C)-2 (CCI small magnum rifle primer).
